The Martyrs Foundation revealed that a specialized court in the Rusafa side has begun receiving requests from the families of the Faili Kurds who were killed by the fallen regime, while they are still alive in civil registries.
The head of the formed committee concerned with the affairs of the Faili Kurds in the institution, Tariq Al-Mandalawi, explained to Al-Sabah that there are many martyrs of the Faili Kurds who are still registered alive in the civil registries despite their killing by the fallen regime, indicating that the statistics indicate the presence of more than 22 thousand young men. Among them, they have been missing since the 1980s, while 5,000 Philly merchants were buried alive, in addition to the deportation of 600,000 to Iran and the death of hundreds of them in exile, as part of the genocide campaign launched by the deceased regime against them and the subsequent confiscation of their money and movable and immovable property.
Al-Mandalawi pointed out the formation of a committee in the institution concerned with researching, excavating, and counting the numbers of martyrs, whether in the country or in exile, for the purpose of including them in the institution’s law, noting that the committee will also work to document their data and submit it to a court formed on the Rusafa side concerned with looking into it, revealing at the same time the demand of their families. The martyrs will submit their papers to this court to begin the necessary procedures, while the committee will work in coordination with the relevant authorities to cancel hundreds of decisions issued by the dissolved Revolutionary Command Council against the members of this component, which have not been canceled yet.
