After the Federal Minister of Justice, Dr. Khaled Shawani, approved the draft instructions for operating inmates and detainees earlier, and after completing its drafting, it was referred to the State Council.
The Ministry of Justice explained in a statement that the Minister of Justice, after approving the recommendations of the ministerial committee charged with preparing draft instructions for the employment of inmates and detainees earlier, was referred to the State Council to complete the basic procedures for issuing them, based on the provisions of Article (5) of State Council Law No. (65) of 1979, amended.
The Ministry confirmed that the project to employ inmates and depositors is one of the most important parts of the rehabilitation programs for inmates, which contributes to their reintegration into society and their employment, which brings the general benefit of the state and the private benefit of the inmate, in accordance with state standards for human rights.
