    {Politics: Al-Furat News} US President Joe Biden congratulated Iraq on its National Day on October 3.
    A statement by the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a copy of which {Al-Furat News} received, said, “Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein received, today, Tuesday, the Ambassador of the United States of America to Iraq, Alena Romanowski, and at the beginning of the meeting, the American Ambassador delivered the message of US President Joe Biden addressed to the President of the Republic of Iraq, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid.” Which includes congratulating the government and people of Iraq on the occasion of the 91st anniversary of Iraq’s independence.
    In his message, according to the State Department statement, Biden expressed “working together to support the democratic process in Iraq and strengthen institutions to support the Iraqi people and their diversity, stressing the necessity of achieving security in the world by continuing to defeat the ISIS terrorist, indicating his aspiration to participate in common priorities and strengthen the partnership between Baghdad and Iraq.” And Washington, wishing a happy National Day to the people and government of Iraq.
    In another aspect of the meeting, the meetings that took place in New York between the American delegation and the Iraqi delegation headed by the Prime Minister, Mr. Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, were discussed.
