Member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, Ahmed Al-Moussawi, confirmed that America is pressuring Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani in order to make his dealings with the resistance the same as that of former Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, who stood against it.

Al-Moussawi told Al-Maalouma, “America is trying to pressure Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani to stand against the resistance, because it has become accustomed to Al-Kadhimi, who was fulfilling its desires by persecuting and harassing the resistance.”
He added, "Washington is trying, through the pressure it is exercising on Sudanese, to create a new version of Al-Kadhimi in dealing with the Iraqi resistance, which stands and still stands against the illegal American presence inside Iraq."
He stated, "The Prime Minister has confirmed that the government has obligations with the international coalition, and there are negotiations and meetings with the United States in order to develop a way to deal with the forces present on the soil of Iraq, at a time when he stressed that Iraq does not need those American forces or military bases, but that Washington continues to press to maintain this survival.” Ended 25 n
