The Saudi Minister of Investment, Khalid Al-Falih, confirmed that normalization of relations with the Zionist entity is still on the table, but it is always conditional on reaching a peaceful solution to the Palestinian issue.
Al-Falih said during a discussion session at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum held in Singapore, in response to a question about normalizing relations between Saudi Arabia and the entity: “This matter was on the table, and it is still on the table, and it is clear that the setback, which occurred last month, I explained why Saudi Arabia insists that resolving the conflict must be part of broader normalization in the Middle East.
Al-Falih added: “The basic rights of the Palestinian people have been taken away, and they have not been given the right to establish their state and peaceful existence, and it is time to use this horrific situation (the escalation in Gaza) to shed light on this issue and resolve it.”
