UNHCR to Al-Furat News: There is a high demand for citizens to receive their cards, and others will arrive in the middle of the month

{Politics: Al-Furat News} The Election Commission described the turnout of citizens voting to receive their biometric cards as “high.”
Imad Jamil, head of the commission’s media team, told Al-Furat News Agency, “The governorates included in the arrival of the biometric cards have begun distributing the cards, and we notice a high turnout among citizens to receive them. A position will be issued on the number of cards received for the included governorates tomorrow, Monday.”
He stated that "the arrival of the cards is not considered meals, but rather the arrival of all cards to the governorates of Baghdad, Babylon, Anbar, Kirkuk, Diyala, and Nineveh."
Jamil pointed out that “the cards for the rest of the governorates will arrive on the 14th or 15th of this month.”
Last Thursday, the Independent High Electoral Commission announced the arrival of the first batch of completed biometric cards to the offices of the governorates of Baghdad, Nineveh, Diyala, Kirkuk, Anbar and Babil, and their distribution starting next Saturday.
