    The General Company for the Manufacture of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Supplies in Samarra, one of the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, revealed on Monday that it had achieved a noticeable increase in production during the current month of November .
    The company’s general manager, Abdul Rahman Abbas Tohme, said in a statement, seen by Al-Iqtisad News, that “the General Company for the Manufacture of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Supplies in Samarra achieved an increase in the value of the production program for the current month of November, by (25%) over last month. To supply the Ministry of Health and the local market with various medicines and medical preparations .”
    He added, "The necessary preparations have begun to provide medicines with the advent of winter, by developing a special production plan for the production of medicines and medical preparations that treat various diseases and chronic diseases ."
    He explained, "The staff working in the production departments began working on implementing this plan since the beginning of this November, which included the production of various types of grains, in quantities amounting to more than (5) million and (952) thousand blisters (bars), and the production of beverages." Diverse, with (538) thousand vials and (400) thousand vials of oral suspensions, in addition to the production of ointments with more than one million (260) thousand tubes, in addition to the production of types of powders with (52) thousand sachets. ”
    He stressed, “The company is keen to secure the necessary raw materials and production supplies, in order to implement its production programs, provide the best therapeutic services and provide medicine with high quality and effectiveness, at reasonable prices that suit the level of income of the Iraqi individual. ”
