    Baghdad today - Baghdad
The Independent High Electoral Commission confirmed today, Tuesday (November 28, 2023), that there is no possibility of exploiting unreceived voter cards by fraud .
Commission spokeswoman Jumana Al-Ghalai said during her interview with “Baghdad Today” that “work is ongoing and ongoing to deliver cards to voters who have updated their records, and there is a great demand to receive these cards, in addition to the presence of mobile teams and communicating with them by sending text messages for the purpose of receiving their cards from The nearest registration center .
She added, "There is no possibility of exploiting the unreceived voter card, as it will remain confidential, and our vision is that the voters who updated their card have a great desire to participate in the electoral process, and they will receive those cards," noting that "the turnout rate is very good. "
According to observers, in every election that Iraq witnesses, the fears of political blocs and voters alike remain, which take many forms, including the transfer of a large number of voter cards to parties, which can be used to manipulate the election results, in addition to several questions raised by the Iraqi street, namely whether The adoption of the satellite system for voting in the upcoming elections is questionable because it is known that these satellites are managed by external countries and cannot be controlled from Iraq, and is there actually the possibility of hacking them and manipulating their results by external parties ?
Does electronic voting prevent fraud in the Iraqi elections, what is the guarantee of integrity, and are the efforts of the Independent High Electoral Commission really not at the required level as some political parties and blocs claim? And is it true that the political parties largely control the commission, so the upcoming elections will witness large amounts of fraud and vote buying ?
Is today the political money that the major parties spend on their electoral campaigns capable of reproducing the same personalities and previous approaches and preventing the change that the Iraqi street aspires to? Is it true that change today is in the hands of the Iraqi voter or in the hands of regional countries that impose their control over the Iraqi scene in one way or another ?
