Member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Mustafa Al-Karaawi, confirmed that the federal budget for the current year 2024 includes new appointments.
Al-Karaawi said in a televised interview followed by the “Maalouma” agency, “The contracts whose transfer to Resolution 315 was approved by the Council of Ministers are confirmed after serving two years and providing a financial allocation from their departments, but some ministries such as agriculture and water resources were unable to provide financial allocations to confirm them, as well as the standards readers.” Those who have completed their two-year service, and they need a government decision to appoint them because confirmation is considered a new appointment.”
He added, "There are 30-40 thousand contract employees," noting that "the education contracts and 31 thousand job degrees for top university graduates and holders of advanced degrees, and the contracts for 150 thousand degrees, the Ministry of Finance was unable to proceed with their appointment, so these appointments were transferred to the 2024 budget tables."
