    {Politics: Al-Furat News} Today, Monday, the Parliamentary Legal Committee approved the amendment to any law, including the Budget Law for the year 2024, after adding a proposal signed by 10 representatives.

    Committee member Omid Muhammad said {to Al-Furat News} that: “From a legal standpoint, it is possible to amend any law approved by the House of Representatives after adding a proposal from a website of 10 representatives.”
    Muhammad added, "Then he submitted it to the Legal Committee to be transferred to the Presidency of Parliament so that it can be voted on after a first and second reading," explaining, "This matter applies to any law."
    Representative in the House of Representatives, Nahla Qadir Effendi, said today that the federal general budget law will be amended early next year, in order to separate the salaries of Kurdistan Region employees from actual spending.
    A delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government arrived in the capital, Baghdad, today, Monday, and is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani, to discuss the files of “salaries, budget law, oil and gas.”
