The Directorate of Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism and the local police command in Basra Governorate, in the far south of Iraq, revealed, on Tuesday, an international line for drug dealers that has been operating for (6 years) in the governorate, and seized a large quantity of narcotic pills estimated at 200 kilograms.[/size]
[size=45]Basra Governorate Police Chief, Major General Qasim Rashid Zuwaid, said in a press conference held today that: In cooperation with the Directorate of Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism, an international drug trafficking line was discovered and four defendants were arrested against whom arrest warrants were issued and a large quantity of narcotic pills were seized.[/size]
[size=45]He continued by saying, “We will continue our work around the clock and tirelessly in the secret and public fields, using all available means to maintain security and stability in our beloved homeland and our Fayhaa Governorate.”[/size]
