    Economy News - Baghdad
[rtl]Today, Tuesday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee, headed by Atwan Al-Atwani, discussed the paragraphs of the Twenty-First Amendment Law to the Landlords Law.[/rtl]
[rtl]The committee stated, in a statement received by Al-Iqtisad News, that “the Finance Committee, under its chairmanship, held a joint meeting with the Parliamentary Legal Committee, to discuss the paragraphs of the Twenty-First Amendment Law to Landlords Law No. (25) of 1960.”[/rtl]
[rtl]According to the statement, Al-Atwani confirmed, “This meeting comes within a series of meetings, seminars and workshops that the Finance Committee will hold with all concerned parties with the aim of maturing this important law that serves a wide segment of our people and guarantees their entitlements.”[/rtl]
[rtl]He stressed "the need for the amendment to include a comprehensive review of the job description, and the creation of new job titles that are consistent with the employee's scientific specializations and the government's needs," reiterating "the importance of legislating a new law for employees instead of continuing with amendments to this law."[/rtl]
[rtl]The meeting reviewed "paragraphs of the draft law, tables of job titles, and articles to be amended and reformulated to meet the requirements of government institutions, and set the necessary standards in line with the future vision and the needs of the labor market."[/rtl]
[rtl]It was decided during the meeting, "to hold joint meetings in the presence of representatives of the ministries, concerned authorities, coordination agencies, and unions, to involve them and listen to their comments regarding the required amendments and the titles to be introduced."[/rtl]
