    Baghdad/Al-Masala Al-Hadath: The statement of the Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, to the British Foreign Secretary, David Cameron, reflects an important shift in Iraq’s strategy towards the international coalition and management of foreign relations.
    The statement indicates Iraq's desire to expand the circle of its international partners after the withdrawal of the international coalition from Iraq, which reflects Iraq's desire to direct its efforts towards building strong and diverse international relations that contribute to the stability of the country and enhance international cooperation in various fields.
    By expressing its desire to end the presence of the international coalition in the country, Iraq is highlighting its desire to strengthen its sovereignty and ability to make independent decisions in a way that serves its national interests.
    The statement reflects Iraq's readiness to strengthen bilateral relations with Britain and other countries, which contributes to enhancing trade and economic exchange and the exchange of experiences in various fields. The statement also reflects Iraq's desire to achieve stability and internal security, which is considered an essential basis for attracting foreign investments and achieving comprehensive development in the country.     On Friday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani informed British Foreign Secretary David Cameron of the Iraqi’s efforts to organize work with the international coalition, end its presence in the country, and move to the stage of multiple bilateral relations.
    Al-Sudani's office stated in a statement that Prime Minister Mohamed Shiaa Al-Sudani met, on Friday morning, the British Foreign Secretary, Mr. David Cameron, on the sidelines of his Excellency's participation in the Munich Security Conference 2024.
    During the meeting, Al-Sudani discussed bilateral relations between Iraq and the United Kingdom, and the importance of upgrading and strengthening them in all aspects, in a way that serves the common interests of the two friendly countries, noting that Iraq today represents fertile ground for investments and economic work, and that the doors of investment are open to British companies.
    The Prime Minister confirmed that the government seeks to organize work with the international coalition, move towards ending its presence in Iraq, and move to multiple bilateral relations with the coalition countries.
    Regarding the situation in Gaza, Al-Sudani pointed out the need for the major powers to play their role in ending the ongoing war in the Palestinian territories, stopping its repercussions on the security of the region and the world, and the necessity of protecting civilians and providing urgent humanitarian aid to them, after the comprehensive destruction caused by the occupation forces in the Gaza Strip.
    For his part, Cameron expressed his country's desire to expand relations with Iraq, in a way that achieves mutual benefit, stressing that these relations should not be limited to the security aspect, which is being organized through Britain's participation in the international coalition, but rather his country desires to find multiple partnerships with Iraq, especially in economic and development aspects.
