Member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, Muhammad Al-Khafaji, revealed on Saturday the continued parliamentary refusal to pass the general amnesty law under any political clause.
Al-Khafaji told Al-Maalouma, “The law contains many loopholes through which terrorists can be included in this law, which requires extensive study.”
He added, "There are fears that terrorists will be included in the general amnesty law," noting that "there are serious attempts to read the law in detail before starting to present it to the agenda," stressing that "the general amnesty faces major disagreements within the House of Representatives."
