BAGHDAD - INA / MP for the Legal Committee, Salim Chawki, for "the Iraqi News Agency," he said on Monday that "the Council of Ministers sent Parwqa general amnesty law and the many exceptions that make it empty shell of its content."
Shawky said that "the legal committee exceptions reduced from 12 to 5 only exception with a disagreement unresolved point yet."
He made clear that the mass of the citizen, "excluded from the bill five categories are the messengers Occlusive weapons, and smugglers effects, and the defendants in accordance with Article 4 terrorism, and accused of money laundering issues, and finally accused of abducting civilians at gunpoint."
He pointed out that "the sticking point that is still unresolved is the inclusion of convicts on charges of striking US forces on the grounds that they were resistance fighters against the US occupation and at the same time they are doomed according to Article IV of the anti-terrorism law."
The MP for the province of Basra that "he will be re-trial of the accused, who issued their judgments according to the testimony confidential informant, and the move came in order to not feel Balmazlomah toward their sentences," noting that "the draft law is there at the Presidency has sent divinely Legal Committee by several days for inclusion on the agenda of a future. "
