the technical advisor to the Prime Minister, Muhammad Sahib Al-Daraji, confirmed that salaries will only be affected if oil prices decrease and that all salaries are insured in Iraq.
Al-Daraji said in a televised interview followed by Mawazine News: “A liquidity crisis will only affect projects, but salaries will only be affected if oil prices decline,” noting that “all salaries are insured by the government and the Ministry of Finance.”
