the financial advisor to the Prime Minister, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, said that the past five months witnessed the sale of Iraqi oil for more than $ 70.
Saleh added, in a televised interview, followed by Mawazine News, that "OPEC talks about the survival of high oil prices for the current year above $70 per barrel."
He pointed out that "a third of the budget deficit is funded by the financial abundance from oil revenues for the year 2022."
He continued, "The salaries of the lower job grades should be adjusted to improve their living," going on to say, "Modifying the salary scale needs additional resources to finance the increase in expenses." Ended 29/N33
