[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The Minister of Commerce affirmed, “Atheer Al-Ghurairi is keen to restore the rights of the ministry’s employees, and we have begun the stages of a radical solution to them through quick and effective administrative procedures.”
The ministry stated in a statement, “This came” during a meeting with the minister on Tuesday morning,
and the minister indicated during his meeting with representatives of the protesting employees. In front of the Ministry building, people demanding the return of the support amounts and the food basket that were paid to them as incentives. Work is underway to follow up on the communications that have been prepared and communicate with the relevant authorities in the Prime Minister’s Office, excluding the Ministry from the recommendations approved by those authorities not to allow self-financing companies to spend on the Ministry’s headquarters.”
Minister Al-Ghurairi addressed the employee representatives, saying: “I have worked and since the first day I took office The Minister of Commerce’s duties are to address all diagnosed problems that occurred previously, and I worked through a schedule of periodic interviews to listen to the personal and collective problems and demands of employees, and we are working towards finding solutions to all issues and obstacles.”
The minister indicated, "The matter of these amounts will be decided as soon as the proper and legal approvals are obtained for these procedures, which requires patience and deliberation from employees in the interest of the important work entrusted to the ministry in formulating foreign and internal trade policy, securing the citizen's livelihood, achieving a balance in the prices of materials, and other tasks to develop the economy."
