, member of the Parliamentary Oil and Gas Committee, Kazem Al-Touki, on Thursday, accused the regional government of continuing to smuggle oil without Baghdad’s knowledge.
Al-Touki said in an interview followed by Mawazine News, “We have become accustomed to the violation and attack on the Federal Court and others by the regional government repeatedly.”
He added, "There are smuggling operations of the region's oil, but there is no truth in smuggling such large numbers of oil as reported by sources in OPEC," indicating that the 450,000 barrels of oil were not delivered to the federal government by the regional government.
