    Today, Wednesday, the Minister of Water Resources, Aoun Dhiab Abdullah, issued directives regarding water pumping stations, their rehabilitation, and the sustainability of maintenance work in them.
    A statement from the Ministry of Water Resources, received by the “Information” Agency, stated that “Minister of Water Resources, Aoun Dhiab Abdullah, conducted a field tour of the Ps1 pumping station in Dhi Qar Governorate, Suq Al-Shuyoukh District, accompanied by a number of general directors and directors of the ministry’s formations working in the governorate.”
    During the tour, the Minister stressed “the importance of continuing maintenance and rehabilitation work on a regular and ongoing basis, in order to ensure the delivery of raw water to the Dhi Qar and Basra governorates in good quantity and quality,” praising “the work carried out at the station by the ministry’s formations, in terms of design, implementation and speed of completion.” and high technical specifications.
    He called for "rehabilitating the station building to present it in a proper manner, and maintaining maintenance work thereon periodically to ensure its continuity of operation." Ended 25
