Parliamentary Oil: The government wants to re-examine previous oil licensing rounds

Tomorrow Press / Baghdad announced the oil and energy parliamentary, on Thursday, that the government wants to re-examine the rounds of oil licenses entered into by the previous government with international companies, indicating that there is a decline in the performance of the oil ministry during the current period.
A member of the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary, Mazen Mezni for "tomorrow Press" that "there are a lot of notes on the previous oil licensing rounds, because it includes mistakes scandalous and must be reviewed," noting that "the government wants to re-examine the rounds licenses and raised several options, including the participation of companies operating in Iraq, or to reconsider prices that drains a lot of Iraqi funds.
" He stressed that "there is a decline in the performance of the oil ministry during the current period, because many companies argue not to pay their dues and ask the government to pay other dues." It is noteworthy that the parliamentary finance committee member Haitham al-Jubouri, said that the crisis economic conditions in the country revealed "rougher" oil licensing and poor planning big error in the material contracts entered into with companies producing oil rounds.
