    Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -MP, Aziz al-Mayahi, of the White bloc called the Parliamentary Culture and Media Committee and the head of the Journalists’ Syndicate, Muayad al-Lami, to object the decision of the parliament chairmanship to limit the journalists’ role inside the parliament.
    In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “The decision of the parliament chairmanship limits the journalists’ role inside the parliament and prevents them from interviewing the MPs only through the media office of the parliament,” noting that “This decision is a clear violation to the rights of the journalists and journalism in the new Iraq.”
    “For being the official side, the Journalists’ Syndicate is requested to reject this decision that underestimate the journalism in Iraq,” he pointed out, assuring that “It is Lami’s moral duty is strongly work for canceling this decision and the violation against the fourth authority.”
