[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The Council of Representatives issued a clarification regarding its tenders and official invitations.
The Council stated in a statement: "The Council of Representatives would like to clarify some matters to public opinion and emphasize its commitment to the principle of absolute transparency before the people, and clearly announces all its tenders and official invitations, especially the Council's tender to purchase its own cars."
He added: "All official institutions have their own cars to carry out official tasks, and these cars are designated for the official use of the Council Presidency, with the aim of facilitating the performance of its duties and receiving senior state officials and foreign guests."
The Council of Representatives explained: "Providing cars with specifications appropriate to these tasks is normal and practiced in most state institutions, in order to ensure an honorable and appropriate representation of the Council on official occasions, which reflects the position of the highest constitutional authority in the state." / End 4 [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.][/rtl]
