    Maysan (IraqiNews.com) -Maysan Provincial Council announced that “Tomorrow, Tuesday, is an official holiday in the province to celebrate the martyrdom anniversary of Sayed Mohammed Baqir al-Sadr.
    The head of the security and defense in Maysan PC, Sarhan Salim al-Ghalibi, stated to IraqiNews.com “Maysan PC decided on Monday to announce an official holiday on Tuesday in the province.”
    “The decision comes to honor the martyrdom anniversary of the late Mohammed Baqir al-Sadr,” he added.
    The Martyr Mohamed Baqir al-Sadr and his sister Bint al-Huda were assassinated by Saddam’s regime on April 9th 1980.
