Said House Speaker Salim al-Jubouri, to postpone the vote on the draft general amnesty law in today's session to next Monday.
Jubouri said, according to a statement his office received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of it, he was "a vote on the amnesty law to postpone the Monday deadline," noting that the postponement "came at the request of the parliamentary legal committee."
The parliament is scheduled to vote today on the bill.
