    Foreign Minister Ibrahim al - Jaafari received, on Friday, Chairman of the Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy in the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, and discussed with him the possibility of opening new horizons for joint cooperation between the two countries. 
    A statement from Jaafari's office received (range) a copy of it, " the Iraqi foreign minister met with Alaeddin Boroujerdi , chairman of the Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy in the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran and his accompanying delegation." The statement added that "The meeting reviewed the progress of bilateral relations between Baghdad and Tehran, and ways of strengthening them, and open up more prospects of joint cooperation to serve the interests of the two neighboring peoples." The statement said that the two sides "reviewed the overall developments in the whole region and the world, and the need to intensify the dialogue and efforts, and cooperation; to eliminate terrorism, and the return of security and stability to the region." In a separate context, search - Jaafari and British Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; the victories achieved by the Iraqis in their war against Daesh terrorist gangs. Another statement by the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, received (range), a copy of it, if the latter , "received a phone call from the British Minister of State for Foreign Affairs , Tobias Ellwood, the two sides discussed progress of the bilateral relations between Baghdad and London, and ways of strengthening them to serve the interests of the two friendly peoples." He said al - Jaafari , a statement that the two sides "discussed developments in the war against terrorism, al - Jaafari also reviewed the victories achieved by the Iraqis in their war against Daesh terrorist gangs, and developments in the battle to liberate the city of Mosul."

    The director of the Public Relations Office Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Joe Beckerl, in remarks, followed up (range Press), said that "our presence diplomat will see an expansion in both Iraq and Lebanon , and Jordan, as part of our commitment in the region in general , " he said . "Send a cadre of 24 diplomatic agent new to these countries to increase the effectiveness of our communication and cooperation with local and international partners there.
