Rafidain Bank said, Sunday, that the thefts that have occurred to the bank is an old and circulation of a new goal to discredit him, noting that the concerned authority to broadcast news of this kind is the press office of the bank after obtaining the approval of the Ministry of Finance.
The media of the bank in a statement "the economy News" received a copy of it, "observed recently that some media circulation of news about trying to robberies of bank branches in amounts of up to billions of dinars," noting that "most of the news that has been circulating in recent months in connection with thefts occurred in some of its branches are old news and some dating back to 2007 ".
Clearly, the office said "the concerned authority to broadcast news of this kind is the press office of the bank after obtaining the approval of the Ministry of Finance that the bank is the first entity that detects attempts of theft, whether through counterfeit instruments or electronic clearing and then informing the judicial and legal authorities concerned to make the necessary."
The office added that "the deployment of this news in the media in this period is intended to offend and defame the bank," calling some parties "not to publish news of others based on the facts and coordination with the Information Office of the Bank to provide them with the things above mentioned."
