It said the Ministry of Finance said in a statement received / Iraq Press / copy of it, that it "denies Mataatnaqlh some media about the arrest of its agent Fadhil Nabi, in Erbil airport," calling for "those means to be accurate in the news."
The media source revealed on Saturday for a security force to stop Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance Fadel Prophet, in Erbil International Airport.
The source said that "the reasons for the arrest are still unknown, but the leaks are talking about suspicions of financial and administrative corruption during his tenure at the ministry," pointing out that "Fadhil Nabi served as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance after being granted Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, powers of the Minister after sacking Hoshyar Zebari who served as the minister.
