    Iraq Stock Exchange index recorded a decrease in the number and value of shares traded in the market with a rise in the record number of transactions and the market index and market value of contracts. 
    The executive director of the market, Taha Ahmed Abdul Salam said in a statement received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of it, that "Iraq organized securities market in the month of January 2017 [22] trading session, according to the timing and procedures in accordance with the instructions and rules, as it hit the market It is restricted to the number of shares traded increased by 6%, and are restricted to the value traded increased by 19.5% compared to the previous month [December], and scored the market rise in the number of transactions by 56%, and a rise in the market price index of shares traded increased by 9.7% and an increase in market value Market Cap 6.2%. " 
    He said Abdul Salam, that "the number of listed companies in the market has reached [97] company and the number of stocks listed on the market amounted to [9.527] trillion shares, while the total number of traded shares in the market companies [62] company, and companies that have not been trading its shares [20] company for non-display compatibility with the demand. " 
    He continued, "The number of shares traded during the month of January totaled 118 billion shares, were traded in the banking sector is the biggest number of 114 billion shares, followed by the industrial sector with 2 billion shares, while the value of shares traded during the same month [81.481] billion Dinar". 
    And ISX60 market index between Abdul Salam as "closed at the end of the month of January 2017 at [712.27] points, up by [9.57%] compared to its value to close the month of December 2016 amounting to [649.48] points."

    announced Market Iraq Stock Exchange, Sunday, for the decline in the number and value of shares traded for the month of January last, noting that the market index had closed at the end of the month of January 2017 at 712.27 points. 

    The executive director of the market , Taha Ahmed Abdul Salam in an interview with Alsumaria News that "market systems in the month of January 22 trading session where the reduction in the number of shares traded saw a 6% and the value traded has increased by 19.5% compared to the previous month."

    Abdul Salam said that " the number of listed companies in the market has reached 97 companies and the number of stocks listed on the market has reached 9.527 trillion shares, while the number of traded shares in the market companies reached 62 company , " noting that " the number of companies that have not been trading its shares reached 20 not to offer compatibility with demand company. "
