Iraqi foreign ministry needs new cadres, MP

Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Iraqi Parliamentary Foreign Relations Commission disclosed that most of
the Iraqi embassies abroad are run by counselors who do not know English language, after the retirement of great number of ambassadors.
The Commission called for "new ambassadorial graduates", as said by the member of the Commission Iqbal Abdul Hussein.
She pointed that Iraqi had 60 ambassadors around the world, but great number of them were retired.
"Iraq will have only 11 ambassadors in 2018 and all embassies are run by officials having the post of minister plenipotentiary or counselors, so Iraq needs a new batch of ambassadors to maintain its relations with the world", MP Hussein added.
