The Chinese president said that relations with Washington were affected by "negative factors"



Chinese President Xi Jinping declared his US counterpart, Donald Trump, on Monday, said bilateral relations between the two countries "affected by negative factors" after a series of US moves that angered Beijing, according to a report by official media.

Xi stressed in a telephone conversation with Trump that the US-China relations "have achieved significant results" since the meeting between the two presidents in April at Maralagu Resort which is owned by Trump in Florida, according to a report "CCTV" channel.

But the channel also quoted Shi as saying Trump Relations "affected by negative factors."

Days after the approval of the Trump deal $ 1.3 billion for the sale of arms to Taiwan, the Chinese president expressed the hope that "properly deal" with Taiwan-related issues autonomous and out of the "one-China principle."

This is the second time that a US warship approaching Beijing-controlled island in the South China Sea since the arrival of US President Donald Trump to the presidency.

The warship "USS Dewey" crossed in May 25 near the archipelago of Spratly to the south of the archipelago of Paracel.

These operations are carried out by Washington to prove "the principle of freedom of navigation" aimed at protesting China's sovereignty or any other country on these islands and waters, waiting for a diplomatic solution to this issue.

Beijing is demanding most of the South China Sea, including areas close to the coasts of several countries in Southeast Asia.
