Iran proposes to Iraq to cooperate in the field of maritime navigation
Iran's Minister of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare, Ali Rabie, announced that the Iranian Islamic Republic's shipping company is ready to cooperate with Iraq in the field of oil tankers and to train the technical and professional skills of Iraqi cadres.
"The shipping company of the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to cooperate with Iraq in the field of oil tankers and to train the technical and professional skills of Iraqi cadres," Rabie said in an interview published by IRNA news agency.
"Tehran and Baghdad can cooperate in strategic areas," he said during a meeting with Iraqi Transport Minister Kazem Fanjan.
For his part, stressed the Iraqi Transport Minister, "the need to develop cooperation between Iran and Iraq," noting that "his ministry is ready to develop cooperation in the field of maritime navigation and container transport."
"Tehran and Baghdad are ready to develop relations in various fields," Rabie and Al-Finjan said.
