Iraq offers Turkey to participate in the reconstruction of liberated areas

Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari on Wednesday called on Turkey to contribute to the reconstruction of liberated areas from the control of a terrorist organization.
"Turkey is ready to support the economy to facilitate construction and move the trade process, because it will benefit the region," Jaafari told a joint news conference with Oglu attended by the economy news.
"The volume of trade exchange between the two countries has declined from 18 to 12 billion dollars in 2014 because of problems," Jaafari said.
For his part, Oglu stressed that his country will support Iraq in the reconstruction of its cities, increase economic and trade cooperation and take advantage of existing capabilities.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mouloud Gaooshoglu arrived in Baghdad early Tuesday for talks with Iraqi officials to visit Erbil to discuss the referendum.
