The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Abdul Razzaq Al-Issa, stressed the adoption of scientific and academic standards in dealing with Arab or foreign universities.
Al-Issa said during his meeting with a group of Iraqi students studying at Egyptian universities at the Iraqi Embassy in Cairo, which was followed by "Trend Press", that the ministry adopts scientific rigor as a basic criterion in the evaluation and equivalence of diplomas, stressing the adoption of scientific and academic standards in dealing with Arab or foreign universities, Iraqi students, according to a statement by the ministry.
During the meeting, Al-Issa listened to the students' needs and observations on the nature of their specialties and administrative and procedural obstacles in some universities.
