The MP of the Movement for Change, Sarwa Abdul Wahid, Tuesday, that the people and employees of the region lost their confidence in the province of Kurdistan, demanding the Prime Minister Haider Abadi, pay two salaries "immediately" for the Kurdistan region.

In a statement received by Sky Press, Abdul Wahed said that "hundreds of teachers (demonstrators) took part in peaceful demonstrations demanding payment of their salaries" in the city of Sulaymaniyah. "They no longer trust the provincial government, so they have directed their demands to the federal government to pay their salaries," she said.

The MP stressed that "the slogans that were raised indicate that these demonstrators did not lose confidence in the government in Baghdad, so we demand the Prime Minister to pay two salaries immediately in the form of an advance paid to the region and the salaries are monitored by the committees formed by Mr. Abbadi."

"He likes to end the manipulation of the lives of citizens, because they were not part of the political conflict between Erbil and Baghdad, and they have no fault except that they are citizens governed by corrupt authority," calling Abadi to "fight the corrupt in the region and not the citizens and fight the corrupt in the Kurdish authority is by ending their interests Economic in Baghdad and oil companies and others. "

She stressed Abdul Wahid on, "the need to end the problems between Arbil and Baghdad," and demanded the territorial government "to respond to the demands of the federal government and to follow transparency to resolve differences."
