    Information / Baghdad ..
The head of the parliamentary legal committee Mohsen al-Saadoun said on Thursday that Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi could not break the constitution and bring NATO troops to Iraq, pointing out that Abadi can not be alone in taking such decisions without the approval of the House of Representatives.
"Iraq is committed to international agreements with the United States on security and intelligence cooperation to eliminate terrorism," Al-Saadoun said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah. "This cooperation should not include bringing foreign troops to Iraq under any name without the approval of parliament, .
He added that "Iraq does not need NATO, where Iraq did not use the alliance during the war on a preacher," stressing that "Prime Minister Haider Abadi can not violate the Constitution and bring NATO to Iraq."
"The prime minister's decisions, especially those related to the sovereignty of Iraq, must be subject to the supervision and vote of parliament," he said, stressing the necessity of "intelligence and security cooperation among all countries for the purpose of eliminating terrorism." Ending / 25 n
