The Finance Committee of the House of Representatives on Wednesday welcomed
the decision to lift the ban on airports in the region, noting that it will revive the general budget of the state with financial resources.
The committee member, Najeeb Najib, said in an interview with "Economy News" that the decision will restore the life and business activity of travel and tourism companies operating in the region, but said that "the decision will revive the federal budget and will return workers in travel companies to their work."
Najib said the decision would contribute to an increase in Iraqi Airways' imports and would increase demand.
"After the ban, the passengers took refuge in Turkish Airlines," she said.
