    The Finance Committee in the parliament confirmed Sunday, that the
    crisis experienced by the Finance Minister , Rafie al-Issawi will not
    affect the discussion of the general budget in the parliament .



    The member of the Finance Committee in the
    parliament MP, Hassan Auzmn said in an interview with "Shafaq News" that
    "the crisis of the Minister of Finance may not affect the Finance
    Committee in the issue of the budget."

    "We have to take the opinion of the Minister of
    Finance at the time of the transfers, and then we will be able to know
    the possibility of the state and the government strategy and then we
    take the opinion that he shows."

    "If the crisis reached the withdrawal of
    al-Iraqiya ministers from the government formation, including the
    Minister of Finance then the committee can call the Deputy Minister or
    the Treasury official in the Ministry of Finance to take their
    opinions."

    He said the "technical matters will not affect the functioning of the budget discussions, but we fear from political matters."

    Auzmn who is a deputy from al- Iraqiya list
    predicted "Kurdistan Alliance solidarity with al- Iraqiya List to
    prejudice the quorum o the sessions and thus delay voting on the budget
    process."

    The Iraqi judiciary announced last Friday, the
    "confession" of the protection commander of the Finance Minister, Rafie
    al-Issawi of implementing assassinations attacks in the country.

    The Office of the General Commander of the Armed
    Forces, Nuri al-Maliki announced on Saturday that al-Maliki ordered the
    members of the executing force to arrest a number of the Finance
    Minister Rafie al-Issawi bodyguards and refer them to the judiciary for
    not acting professionally when implementing judicial orders.

    Al- Iraqiya List, announced Thursday evening
    arresting "all" members of the protection of the leader in the list and
    the Finance Minister , Rafie al-Issawi list by a military force in
    Baghdad, holding Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki the responsibility for
    what happened.
