    [ltr]A member of the Committee on Economy and Investment parliamentary, Harith al-Harithi, Saturday, that most members of parliament are not aware of the oil licensing contracts signed by the Ministry of Oil last Thursday.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Al-Harithi told Mawazine News that "the government took advantage of the suspension of the work of parliament to pass decisions, including oil licensing rounds, and gave Kurdistan 17%."[/ltr]
    [ltr]He added that "most members of parliament are not aware of the rounds of oil licenses signed by the Oil Ministry last Thursday," pointing out that "the government does not look at the people when making decisions."[/ltr]
    [ltr]Al-Harithi called for "clarification on these decisions".[/ltr]
    [ltr]The Ministry of Oil announced on Thursday, the signing of new contracts for oil licensing rounds with foreign companies to develop the southern fields[/ltr]
