The Ministry of Oil attributed the delay in the supply of gas to Kuwait to "technical" reasons, noting that Iraq's production of gas is about 5 thousand tons per day.
"The delay in the supply of Iraqi gas to Kuwait for special technical reasons related to production," revealing that "some of the international companies operating in Iraq declined for technical reasons," said the director general of the Iraqi gas filling company of the ministry Ali Abdulkarim al-Moussawi told the newspaper "Al-Rai" Also".
He explained that "the companies produced in general are always facing some technical problems, which can be overcome in the future," stressing at the same time that "in general there are a lot of understandings with the Kuwaiti side."
"The production of his current country of about 5 thousand tons a day," expected to increase "this production with contracts with companies in the field of Gharraf and Halafiyah, in addition to the production of Badra and other sites to rise to 16 thousand tons a day."
