    Information / Baghdad ..
The "Daraj" website, which specializes in investigative journalism, revealed that it had received a will from the late President of the Republic and founder of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Jalal Talabani, more than a year after his departure in October 2017.
"After strenuous attempts to find the will left by the former Iraqi president and Kurdish leader Jalal Talabani, which some of his close associates seem to have worked to block, even deny its existence," the website said in its commentary on the will and read it.
The site did not mention the source of the will and the way it was obtained or the original document of the commandment.
The following is the text of the will published by the website:
As I prepare to leave the world, I am relieved that Iraqi Kurdistan has been freed from the long nightmare of the tyrannical central authorities in Baghdad. Today, we have been liberated by the struggles of our people generation after generation, as well as by the international friendships we have held, especially with the United States Government and other Western Governments.
However, I will not miss the warning of some of the major distortions and serious experiences, which I admit that I personally cause some of them. The most important of these distortions are corruption and family. It is true that we are people who play a bloody kinship with a fundamental role in their life and culture, but we must fight, without prejudice, a kinship over our political system and our administrative positions. This calls upon us to vigorously address the signs of family favoritism, including, in particular, the principle of inheritance which we have seen in some neighboring countries such as Syria.
The other thing I would like to warn about is our relationship with our people in Erbil and with their leadership, headed by dear friend Massoud Barzani. The success and stability of the relationship between Arbil and Sulaymaniyah is the necessary condition for the success of our experience as a whole. It is true that we disagree on many things, but it is also true that we are strengthening and intensifying our return because of this difference if it is implied in a parliamentary and constitutional life sponsored by institutions. I personally see no obstacle, if we get rid, in Erbil, as in Sulaymaniyah, from the symptoms of corruption, family and inheritance, to become two democratic parties, one conservative stems from the old Barzani tradition that began our national movement in Kurdistan, and the other democratic socialist emphasizes the principle Justice, equity and wealth distribution.
Here, I can not escape a third threat to our experience, which has been felt by many of our Kurdish citizens, especially among those who are intrigued by the PKK's proposals. That our talk about the unity of Kurdish cross the borders of countries and experiences and cultures varied is similar to the Arab talk about the Arab nation and nationalism. All that this delusion is doing is impeding our potential and hoped-for success in Iraqi Kurdistan, as it destroys the future of our relationship with the Arabs of Iraq, in exchange for a shrewdness that will not have any concrete achievement. Nationalism, dear ones, has become a burden on its owners throughout the world and not only in our region. What I prefer, on the other hand, is to focus on an Iraqi national democracy that allows us the fields of pluralism and autonomy, which I hope our Arab brothers are aware of and necessary.
Finally, it is necessary to point out that I personally committed a number of mistakes in the stages of our previous struggle, the most important of which were the relations we forged with despotic regimes and organizations against their peoples, especially the Syrian regime. Now we are in a position to change this course, and to stand by the oppressed and the oppressed who are like us everywhere.
Long live the democratic Kurdistan. Long live democratic Iraq.
    Jalal Talabani
