    [rtl]Wall Street rebounded on Friday to close at a two-week high after a strong jobs report and assurances from Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell that the US central bank will be patient and flexible in guiding interest rates.[/rtl]

    [rtl]The Dow Jones industrial average finished up 746.94 points, or 3.29 percent, at 2,3433.16. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was up 84.05 points, or 3.43 percent, to close at 2531.94.[/rtl]

    [rtl]The Nasdaq Composite Index closed up 275.35 points, or 4.26 percent, at 6,738.86.[/rtl]

    [rtl]The three indexes ended the week on gains with the Nasdaq gaining 2.34 percent, the S & P 1.86 percent and Dow Jones up 1.61 percent.[/rtl]

    [rtl]China's Ministry of Commerce said on Friday night it would hold deputy-level talks with US counterparts in Beijing on Jan. 7 and 8, as the two sides seek to end a dispute that would further damage the economy of the two countries.[/rtl]
