(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) Minister of Commerce, Mohamed al-Ani, announced a new promise on the ration card.
Al-Ani said in a press statement: "We have a meeting with the Finance Committee in the parliament to increase the financial allocations for the ration card, which has already improved during the past two months, but will improve the quality also in the coming days."
He stressed that "the implementation of previous decisions to cut the ration card for people who exceed the salaries of one million and a half million dinars, but many of the departments did not implement this decision and addressed us the Council of Ministers and other departments and competent authorities to provide us with a database but so far not provided.
He pointed to the existence of "meetings with the Ministry of Social Affairs to provide some vocabulary for social welfare."
