"
    The Eidani had threatened a few days ago to close the border crossings linking the province neighboring countries in protest against the policy of the General Authority for Customs.
    "We, as a local government, have to make an independent decision to manage our border ports in accordance with the decentralization system, after many traders abandoned them because of the unfair mechanism they are putting in place," he told a news conference.
    The governor stressed the need for the province to 10 billion dollars to start the establishment of strategic projects to promote the status of the city to be the economic capital of Iraq.
