Electricity announces renewal of energy import contract with Iranian company for one year

The Ministry of Electricity announced on Sunday the renewal of the contract to import electricity with an Iranian company for a year on the sidelines of the visit of its Minister Loay Khatib to Tehran .
"The Minister of Electricity, Luay Khatib, visited the Islamic Republic of Iran with a delegation of specialists from the staff of the ministry," the ministry said in a statement. "The visit included several meetings with Iranian officials, starting with the Vice President and the Minister of Energy Iranian and a number of energy specialists in Iran for four days. "
- She added that "the visit came at the invitation of the Iranian Energy Minister in his last visit to Baghdad at the end of last December," noting that "the visit resulted in the activation of the minutes of the meetings that took place in Baghdad and agreements that have been fixed items and for mutual cooperation, Power with Iran's Tfnair for one year. "
The minister pointed out that "the minister briefed on the Iranian experience of dealing with slums and rumors until the arrival of self-sufficiency, being close to the status of many areas in Iraq , and how to move to the stage of technological progress," asserting that "Iran is a state manufacturer of technological systems in the energy sector, For goods and products to many countries of the world, including backup tools, smart meters, and all equipment of the sectors of production, transmission and distribution of electric power.
