Shafaq News / Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi arrived in the Egyptian capital Cairo today in his first foreign visit since he assumed the presidency of the Iraqi government.
The visit will include a bilateral summit comprising Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi and a trilateral summit which will also include Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to hold talks to develop relations and cooperation in all fields that serve the interests of peoples and countries and support security, stability and economic prosperity for all peoples of the region.
The Prime Minister will meet with Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Medbouli, who was at the head of the recipients. He will also hold several political, economic, social and cultural meetings within his two-day visit.
The visit comes within the framework of the government's approach to building balanced and constructive partnership relations, cooperation and mutual interests, enhancing Iraq's position and its pivotal role in its Arab and regional environment and achieving the aspirations of the Iraqi people to support its security and stability.
