    The 
    head of the Committee on Family, Women and Children, Haifa Al-Amin, on Saturday, presented a request to the Presidency of the House of Representatives to lift the second paragraph of the agenda of today's session on the law of protection from domestic violence. 
    Al-Amin said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah that "the first reading of the first reading is an old law of the Minister of State for Women's Affairs," noting that "the law has been amended by the Committee on the empowerment of women in the Council of Ministers as well as by civil society organizations and judges as well as specialists." 
    She added that "the committee of the family, women and children parliamentary has a new formula to introduce the law and used to read the first," noting that the Committee "is waiting for the arrival of the new version of the Council of Ministers to the House of Representatives for inclusion on the agenda of the Council." 
    She added that "the law includes a financial side and this aspect of the jurisdiction of the government and the Council of Ministers and not the House of Representatives." Ending / 25 h
