Iran's defense minister comments on America's willingness to negotiate unconditionally

Iran's Defense Minister, Brigadier General Amir Hatami, said on Saturday that the Americans were prepared to negotiate with Iran without preconditions.
"The hostility of the West and the hegemonic regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran is due to its principles of rejection of hegemony and non-dependence," Khatami said during a strategic meeting of the Defense Ministry in the presence of senior ministry officials.
"The issue of nuclear issues, human rights, missile capabilities and regional presence is merely a pretext for hostility against Iran. The reason for all this animosity and hatred is the new paradigm of the religious people's sovereignty that was put forward by the architect of the Great Islamic Revolution of the world, Islam is the original and the most powerful forces of East and West.
