Interior Minister looks to control and facilitate the issuance of passports to Iraqis abroad
Minister of Interior Yassin al-Yasiri discussed with Foreign Minister Mohammad Ali al-Hakim the control and facilitation of the issuance of passports to Iraqis abroad.
A statement issued by the Information Office of the Interior Minister said that "Al-Yasiri visited the Foreign Ministry and was received by Foreign Minister Mohammad Ali Al-Hakim," adding that "Hakim praised the role of the Ministry of Interior and its efforts in the context of achieving security and stability and combating crime."
The statement added that "a number of issues of mutual interest were discussed and ways of enhancing them for the benefit of the public and the most important is the process of controlling the mechanism to ensure the issuance of passports to Iraqis abroad and facilitate procedures on this matter."
