    For his part, member of the Board of Commissioners Hazem al-Ridini said in a press statement: "The vote on the amendment of the law of local councils gave us full confidence to hold the elections on the date set for April 1 next year," stressing that «the Commission is ready to hold elections without delay». 
    He added that «the Commission will use the acceleration of the results as we will announce tenders for the signing of contracts and this is the most important paragraph in the preparation process», pointing out that «the voting process will allow the displaced and the military and the vote to accept one of the electronic or biometric cards during the voting».
